The Peter Gruss Young Investigator Award recognizes a young neuroscience investigator for significant contributions to the scientific community through collaboration, creativity, and curiosity-driven research. The winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize and will be provided travel and lodging to the award ceremony at Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience’s biennial Sunposium Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida, March 6-8, 2023. The winner will also deliver a keynote address at Sunposium, following their award acceptance. Read more…
Nomination Criteria:
- Actively engaged in neuroscience research at the time the award is given.
- Has assumed an independent research position in or after 2015. (Other special circumstances may be evaluated at the discretion of the selection committee.)
- Postdoctoral Fellows or those dependent upon a Principal Investigator are ineligible.
- Current and former Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience scientists are ineligible.
