As a prelude to the Max Planck Day, MPI-BR scientists brought their exciting research to local bars.
On September 13, eight neuroscientists from the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research gave short presentations at five different bars, all over Frankfurt. The bars were visited by many enthusiastic people, which led to fruitful discussions about brain evolution, proteins in the brain, computer models for neurodegenerative diseases, STED microscopy, optogenetics, spatial navigation, zebrafish and the history of cognitive neuroscience.
