Marina Elaine Wosniack (postdoc at the Gjorgjieva Lab) receives a Capes-Humboldt Research Fellowship

Proposed neural circuits that alternate crawling and turning behavior in Drosophila larvae.

This two-year grant will support her research project on the neural circuits underlying Drosophila (fruit fly) larvae locomotion. The MPI for Brain Research congratulate her on this great effort.

The Capes-Humboldt Research Fellowship Program is a joint fellowship program of the German Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and the Brazilian research funding organisation Capes (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior). The program exclusively addresses researchers from Brazil on a postdoc and more experienced level.
